Help Virginia's Family as they Grieve

Virginia era una hermosa niña de 12 años que falleció inesperadamente el 6 de marzo mientras dormía. Su familia vive en Oxnard y necesita ayuda con los gastos para el funeral. Virginia nació con una discapacidad de desarrollo y fue cuidado con mucho cariño por su mamá y familia para atender todas sus necesidades. Ella recibió servicios de intervención temprana por parte de los terapistas de Amigo Baby y cuidado de respiro por parte de Channel Islands Social Services (CISS) desde los 5 meses de edad. Virginia was a beautiful 12-year old girl who passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on March 6th. Her family lives in Oxnard and needs support with funeral expenses. Virginia was born with a developmental disability and was lovingly cared for by her mother and family to attend to all of her needs. She received early intervention services from therapists with Amigo Baby and respite care since she was 5 months old from Channel Islands Social Services (CISS). The family has four other children who are all grieving the loss of their sweet sister.
With support from the community, friends, and family members, Virginia was memorialized with a funeral mass on Friday March 15th at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Oxnard, and buried at Santa Clara Cemetery. The services were beautiful and we want to thank Fr. Manuel and the Garcia family for their care and compassion.
My husband and I have matched the generous funds raised with an additional $3000 that went toward the funeral costs. This site will remain open until Wednesday March 20th with all funds raised that are above funeral costs given to the family by March 23rd.
