Ty's Emergency Vet Bills

Imagine you're doing all that you can to take care of your pets. You feed them, bathe them, take them for regular check ups. And somehow in the process, you make a grave mistake. My name is Kimi and I'm starting this campaign to help one of my dearest friends get money desperately needed for emergency vet bills for her sweet orange tabby, Ty.
Like any good cat Mom, Rachel takes excellent care of her animals. They have a loving home complete with cats, a dog, beaded dragons and more. To say that she is a true animal lover wouldn't do it justice. Imagine her horror when she accidentically grabbed the wrong box of flea medication for Ty and mistakingly used the type meant for dogs, rather than cats.
For those unaware, there are flea medications made for dogs, and flea medications made for cats for a reason and the two should never be used interchangably. The ingredients in flea medication meant for dogs are toxic and often even lethal to cats.
Of course being so close to Christmas, Rachel and her husband Nick don't have a lot of extra money having worked hard to budget in enough money to buy presents for the 2 girls. Hence, I'm starting this campaign for them. They have already spent over $200 today at an emergency vet clinic where Ty was stabalized. He's since been checked in at a different Vet for better care.
Ty needs your help! I've set this campaign to $300 but I know it isn't going to cover all of the costs. This family could really use some assistance and I hope you'll lend a hand.
