Hello.
For those of you who don't know me, my name is Tucker. I'm 19 months old and full of puppy spunk. My mom and dad adopted me when I was 6 months old. I love to swim, prance through the snow, help dad in the yard, and visit my doggie neighbours.
Late last summer I wasn't feeling well so I stopped eating my food. My mom and dad spent months and thousands of dollars taking me to doctors and doing tests and x-rays. I started limping shortly before our first x-rays came back with the bad news in November: I have a break in the head of my femur.
My mom and dad don't know how I broke my bone. Maybe I fell when I was in the care of my first mom. Maybe it's something I was born with that got worse over time. There are many possibilities and mom and dad gave me medicine to try to make it better. Unfortunately, it didn't work and my doctor wants me to have surgery. She says once I recover I'll be able to run and play again! I really miss playing with the other dogs at the dog park :(
Mom and dad hate to ask, but the bills are piling up and they need your help to get me the surgery I need. My limp is getting worse and if I don't have surgery soon, it'll get really hard for me to get around. I'm on pain medication, but it still hurts sometimes and I need mom's help to get up when it gets really bad.
