I am Steven Rosenthal, Executive Officer of HMS Barbarossa, and I am asking for your help in supporting my friend and shipmate Todd Rotolo.
Spacer 3c Todd Rotolo of HMS Barbarossa DD-551 has been in and out of the hospital for almost a year. Todd suffers from Heart Failure and is on the Heart Transplant waitlist. Todd is currently in the CICU at Ochsner Medical Center with a very bad infection in his heart.
Todd is married to his lovely wife Mary Beth, and is the father of two sons, Joshua and Jonathan. The Rotolo family lives in Golden Meadow, LA which is an hour and a half drive away from Ochsner Medical Center. Todd's wife Mary Beth graciously makes this drive frequently to stay with Todd in the hospital, then drives back to Golden Meadow.
The money that is raised will be given to the Rotolo family to help offset some of the medical costs and their expenses of being away from home (Food, gas, etc.)
Todd Rotolo is not only a founding member of the Barbarossa, he is a member of the 501st Legion. He is known around Bast Alpha Garrison as being one of the most kind hearted and enthuastic members. Sadly, due to his most recent hospitalization, Todd had to miss out on participating as a Grand Marshall in the Krewe of Ceasar. We hope that by collecting donations here we can further show him that the entire fan community is thinking about and supports him.
