Join Hudson as we support a group of resilient Syrian kids living in a refugee settlement in Ketermaya, Lebanon
All donations are managed through the First Presbyterian Church of Hudson, NY and are tax deductible.
Background: The children of Ketermaya have been ripped from their homes and lives through no action of their own. These children of war fled their Syrian homeland walking 370 km to a dusty mountain top in Ketermaya, Lebanon. They live a new life in a makeshift camp and they begin each day with hope, courage and the belief that one day, through their own determination, they will rebuild their lives and return to the country they love.
Let’s be part of the solution and assist them to reclaim their hopes for an education and realize the greatest potential for their lives…in a new and future Syria.
Hudson has become a beacon for other American cities…supporting a path beyond the desperation of Syria. Let’s focus on their future and imagine a new life for these children starting with an education at the most critical time of their lives.
