Help Goose our sphynx cat get well

Please Help Goose:
On Saturday March 5, 2016, our 5 year old sphynx cat Goose threw a blood clot and could not use his back legs. We took him in immediately to the emergency vet and told them to do everything they could. Their prognosis looks bleak and they informed us that over half of the cases they have seen, the owners choose euthanasia. He has an enlarged heart, congestive heart failure, and saddle thrombus. Basically his heart cannot deliver enough blood to his body and when he threw the clot, it cut off blood supply to his legs. This lack of nutrient & oxygen rich blood leads to severe pain, unresponsive limbs, and severe damage to tissues, blood vessels, and nerves.

Current Condition:
He is a fighter and is now at home healing and resting. Luckily my boyfriend Josh has  been working from home for the past year and is able to be with him during the day. Currently his back right leg is still not functional and cold to the touch. He is very tired and has not eaten for 4 days. We have been spoon-feeding him wet food along with his 4 medications: 2 heart meds, a pain med, and a blood thinner. He has been drinking a lot of water and we are hoping to get him to eat tonight on his own. I am most concerned that his back right leg will not fully recover. Goose will be going back in to see the vet next week sometime unless he gets worse in the meantime.

Goose's Backstory:
We rescued Goose March 17, 2013 after he had been taken from a bad breeder and moved around to 4 different homes that did not work out, as the adoptees did not read up about the breed.  Goose is the sweetest cat I have ever met (and I have met a lot of cats) and he is our baby; he is family. He deserves a long life and we plan to give it to him for as long as he is not in pain.

My Story:
I was already living paycheck to paycheck paying off loans and credit cards and working to be debt free. I do not have enough income to continue long term medical bills and medications without falling more into debt. I  have been putting these expenses on my balance transfer cards that have 0% interest, so far it is at $2,900. I do not want to give up on Goose and will not give up on him. It would be outstanding to get some extra help financially (even though I do not like asking for it).

Thank you for reading our story and any contribution you can make is much appreciated.
