Medical spendowns & other expenses

A year and a half ago my 35 year old husband had a ruptured aneurysm and three days later a subsequent stroke. After thirty days in a coma and a month and a half in rehab I was able to bring him home but not without extensive damage. Since that time we have been hit with a monthly spend down for his insurance, a dramatic drop in income and increasing medical bills for uncovered services which have caused us to fall behind in several financial areas. I received a letter today that now gives me thirty days to come up with the back amount owed to maintain a roof over his head. On top of the financial strain my husband is now in the end stages of cirrhosis and stage four kidney failure. Any help would be appreciated as I attempt to come up with the funds to keep our home. This was a last stitch effort for us as we don't like asking for help. God bless those who can as well as those who cannot help.
