Help Ruca Fight Cancer!
When Ruca was 11 months old we picked her up from the shelter and ever since she is the reason why I smile every day. Now my girl is 8 years old and diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma.
In January, Ruca had surgery to have the cancerous growth removed which meant we had to remove her front right toe since that was where the cancerous growth first appeared. Believing, it was a localized cancer we thought Ruca would go on to live a long happy life until I spotted another lump but this time near her elbow on the same leg as before.
Her primary doctor referred us to an Oncologist who told us the cancer has traveled to her lymph nodes and without chemo she will only have 3 months to live! With Chemo, Ruca will have 6 to 12 months to live. Also, we are seeing a holistic doctor who believes he can further Ruca's life by an additional year to possibly remission!
To do this donations would be greatly appreciated! The chemo treatments are going to be every 2 to 3 weeks for the rest of her life, if we cannot get the cancer to go into remission. Please help me give Ruca a fighting chance!!!
Our family has recently suffered the loss of my father at a early age from heart disease which makes Ruca's survival that much more important to us!
Thank you!
