Emergency repairs at Peace Tree
Tax deductible
Last week we made two major repairs to keep Peace Tree warm and dry. When the temps dipped down to the single digits the furnace decided to breathe its last hot breath. The emergency situation needed immediate attention and a new furnace was installed. Then it was discovered that the main stack pipe required major plumbing repairs.
Our sponsoring church, Zion UCC, helped us out and approved money to be spent on the repairs totaling $5,000. We are so grateful to them!
BUT this sets us way back on our 2018 goal to become a sustainable ministry. Zion UCC cannot continue funding our expenses and Anne and Jessica are working hard to keep Peace Tree open so it can be a space for transformation for years to come!
