Hola! Mi nombre es Verónica, soy una joven estudiante de Venezuela, y necesito tu ayuda.
Hace unos días tuve la oportunidad de conocer AIESEC y me enamoré de sus proyectos! AIESEC es una organización sin fines de lucro que promueve la participación social porque cree en que cada joven en el mundo debe tener un rol activo y positivo en la modelación del futuro de nuestro planeta y de nuestras sociedades. Aunque suene tonto y trillado, AIESEC trabaja por la paz mundial y lo hace mediante el intercambio cultural de estudiantes de diferentes países, la integración y la participación social. Y piénsenlo, tiene sentido..! Mientras más "nuestro" sintamos a cada ser humano, menos violencia generaremos. Nos cuidaremos los unos a los otros porque cada ser humano será "uno de los nuestros". Ellos están convencidos de que ésta sensibilización se logra integrándonos con distintas culturas, formando parte de la solución a los problemas mundiales, y no estancarnos y cerrarnos a nuestros propios problemas. Si entre todos logramos esto, el mundo sería un lugar diferente y, definitivamente, mucho más ameno.
Yo logre ver esto, y me enamoré de la idea..! Quiero poner mi granito de arena por hacer de este mundo un mejor lugar, quiero poner mis habilidades a la disposicion de quien lo pueda necesitar, dando así un gran paso en mi superación personal y adquiriendo una invaluable experiencia !
Ahora bien, para realizar el proyecto, la organización facilita el hospedaje y una comida al dia en el pais destino, pero no cubre nada en lo que respecta al pasaje.
Y bueno, la situación económica de mi país, me trajo aquí.
Y si todo pasa por algo esto es para demostrar que nos necesitamos mutuamente, porque irónicamente, yo necesito de su granito de arena para poder poner yo el mío.
A pesar del gran apoyo que ofrece la organización, con el hospedaje y la comida, la situación económica de mi país hace que, a mi sola, se me complique muchísimo llevar a cabo el proyecto debido a q desde Venezuela se me hace increíblemente difícil conseguir un pasaje... Aquí los pasajes solo se venden en dólares, moneda que en Venezuela es sumamente costosa y (para mi) difícil de conseguir. Para que se hagan una idea, quienes no lo sepan, un sueldo mínimo aquí equivale a unos 33.6$ (si, al mes) los cuales a duras penas alcanzan para comer puesto que la canasta básica se está ubicando alrededor de los 157.8$ ... Y un pasaje internacional (en general) está rondando los 1000$ ...
La organización me cubre el hospedaje y una de las 3 comidas, pero no el pasaje.
Como dije antes, llegar a ese monto sola, desde Venezuela, se me hace muy muy dificil, pero con la ayuda de uds se que podemos lograrlo!! :D
No pretendo que me financies tooooodo el dinero que necesito para el pasaje, ni que apoyes con la mitad de tu salario.. solo quiero que me ayuden un poco, con 5$ de parte de cada uno de uds (lo minimo que acepta la pagina) y difundiendo el mensaje seria mas que suficiente para alcanzar la meta! Inclusive si alguien tiene alguna propuesta de trabajo que me permita conseguir el dinero para el pasaje y las comidas será también bienvenida!
Entonces gente, por un lado les pido que me ayuden monetariamente para poder ser parte de todo esto, y por otro lado quiero invitarlos a participar en este maravilloso proyecto mundial que nos permite a cada uno de nosotros hacer la diferencia!

Ya les hablé de lo que me motiva. Ahora hablaré más cuantitativamente del proyecto.

El proyecto se llevará a cabo en Valparaíso, Chile del 24 de julio al 4 de septiembre. Incluye una comida al día y hospedaje durante las 6 semanas, como les había comentado anteriormente, el traslado desde mi país hasta Valparaíso no está incluido y tampoco está incluido el transporte interno desde el lugar donde estaré hospedada hasta los lugares donde se dará el desarrollo del proyecto.
Investigando en internet y con personas que viven allá, conseguí estos estimados:
· Boleto de avión aprox 700$ hasta Santiago y unos 200$ de Santiago a Valparaíso (eso es comprándolos ahorita, mientras mas se acerque a la fecha de vuelo mas caro será el pasaje :s )
· Para un mes la movilización en transporte público dentro de Valparaíso sale en aprox 44$
· Para un mes en comida/limpieza/higiene son aprox 182$
· Servicios adicionales
- línea telefónica 22$
- renta mensual 15$ (para poder comunicarme con mi familia en mis dos meses de estadía y trabajo voluntario fuera de mi país)
- Gastos imprevistos 600$
Los gastos mensuales deben multiplicarse por dos, puesto que la duración del proyecto es de dos meses, con lo cual nos quedaría un total de: 2.000$

Comprar un pasaje de avión por aprox 1000$ es algo para lo cual necesito apoyo. Y no es que quiera comprarlo para irme de bonche, quiero comprarlo para ir a hacer un voluntariado, dar mi apoyo, ser parte de ese cambio que quiero ver en el mundo.
¿Cómo será usado el dinero?

¿Qué tan pronto necesito los fondos?
La idea de iniciar una campaña en gofundme llego a mí algo tarde, por lo que para dentro de un mes necesito tener al menos para el pasaje (24 junio).
Para el 20 de julio ya estaría en vísperas de partir o ya allá, por lo que para esa fecha debería haberse logrado ya la meta y recaudado la totalidad de los fondos. TENEMOS PRISA.
¿Por qué esto significa mucho para mi?
Es una oportunidad de poner a la disposición mis habilidades, de seguir mi filosofía y empezar un cambio positivo. Pienso que la mejor manera de hacer valer tu vida, es vivirla sin egoísmo, ayudar, dar de tu tiempo, tu energía y tus ganas por el prójimo. Por lo tanto, ésta es una oportunidad de hacer valer mi vida.
Es también una oportunidad de conocer nuevas culturas desde una perspectiva muy humana e interesante, vivir nuevas experiencias, desarrollarme y crecer como individuo. En fin, es una oportunidad que aprovecharé enteramente.

A few days ago I had the opportunity to meet AIESEC , and I fell in love of their projects! AIESEC is a non-profit organization that promotes social participation because they believe that every young person in the world should have an active and positive role in shaping the future of our planet and our societies. Although it sounds silly and trite, AIESEC works for world peace and makes it through cultural exchange students from different countries , integration and social participation. And if you think about it , it makes sense ..!
The more "our" feel to every human being, generate less violence. We take care because every human will be " one of us"
They are convinced that this awareness is achieved by integrating ourselves with different cultures as part of the solution to global problems , and not stagnate and get stuck into our own problems. If together we achieve this , the world would be a different place and definitely more enjoyable
I achieved to see this and i fell in love with the idea... ! I want to put my bit to make this world a better place , I want to put my skills to the order of who might need it, and in that way taking a big step in my personal development and gaining an invaluable experience !
Now, for the project , the organization provides lodging and one meal a day at the destination country, but does not cover anything with respect to the passage.
Well, the economic situation in my country , brought me here.
And if everything happens for something, this it is to show that we need each other , because ironically , I need your bit to I can put mine.
Despite the great support offered by the organization , with lodging and food, the situation in my country makes me so complicated to carry out the project because from Venezuela I find it incredibly difficult to get a Flight ticket. .. Here the tickets are only sold in dollars, currency in Venezuela is extremely costly and ( for me) difficult to achieve. To give you an idea , for who do not know, a minimum wage here is equivalent to about 33.6 $ (yes, per month ) which barely enough to eat since the basket is positioning around 157.8 $ .. . And an international Flight ticket ( in general) is hovering around $ 1000 ...
The organization covers me lodging and one meal a day , but not the passage.
As I said, reaching that amount alone by myself, from Venezuela , I find it very very difficult , but with your help I know we can do it !
I do not intend to finance me all the money I need for Flight ticket, even half of their salary .. just I want you to help me a little, with $ 5 from each of you ( the minimum that accepts page ) and disseminating of the message is more than enough to reach the goal ! Even if someone has any proposed job that allows me to get the money for the fare and meals will also welcome !

The organization covers me lodging and one meal a day , but not the passage.
As I said, reaching that amount alone by myself, from Venezuela , I find it very very difficult , but with your help I know we can do it !
I do not intend to finance me all the money I need for Flight ticket, even half of their salary .. just I want you to help me a little, with $ 5 from each of you ( the minimum that accepts page ) and disseminating of the message is more than enough to reach the goal ! Even if someone has any proposed job that allows me to get the money for the fare and meals will also welcome !

The project will be held in Valparaiso , Chile from July 24 to September 4 . Includes one meal a day and lodging for 6 weeks , as i had told you before, the moving from my country to Valparaiso is not included and neither is including internal transportation from the place where I will be hosted to the places where will the project .
Researching on the internet and with people living there, I got these estimates :
• Flight ticket to Santiago approx $ 700
From Santiago to Valparaiso $ 200 (this is if the buying of them is right now , the more you approach the date of the flight more expensive the passage :s )
• mobilizing public transport within Valparaíso approx $ 44 (one month)
• food / cleaning / hygiene $ 182 (one month)
• Additional services
- Telephone line $ 22
- Monthly services $ 15 ( to communicate with my family in my two month stay and volunteer work outside my country )
- Incidental expenses $ 600
Monthly expenses should be multiplied by two , since the project duration is two months. TOTAL $ 2,000

What led me to fundraise? A passion, an ideology, a belief not want to leave overcome by an economic crisis. Buy a plane ticket for about $ 1000 is something for which I need support. How soon need the funds?
The idea of starting a campaign gofundme came to me a little late, so that within a month I need to have at least the flight ticket (24 June).
On July 20 and would be on the eve of starting or already there, so that by that time the goal should have been already achieved and raised all the funds. HURRY.
Why does this mean so much to me?
It is an opportunity to make available my abilities, to follow my philosophy and start a positive change. I think the best way to assert your life is to live selflessly, help, give of your time, your energy and your desire for others. Therefore, this is an opportunity to assert my life.
It is also an opportunity to meet new cultures from a very human perspective and interesting, new experiences, develop myself and grow as an individual. In short, it is an opportunity that I will use entirely.
Your help would mean for me to make all this possible, and would be immensely grateful to it. I will be multiplying the support they're giving me right now. Today for me, tomorrow for you.
