My name is Victor Lucia and I'm proud to be a teacher at Achievement First Crown Heights Middle School. I'm raising money to take my scholars on three fishing trips this year.  The money will be used to pay for private charter striped bass trips. Last year we were able to meet our goal and I was able to take 15 students fishing for the first time in their lives. I would like to do this again but will not be able to do so without your help. My students will be incredibly grateful if you help us achieve this goal, they learn about fish everyday when our club meets and are excited to catch their first fish this year!

Thank you to everyone who donated to make our trip yesterday possible! We caught over 20 striped bass, kept a few for the table and released the rest. In addition we were lucky enough to see a whale & a pod of dolphins feeding on bait. It was a day that my students will never forget and it's all because your donations made it possible. THANK YOU!

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far! Due to your generosity we have been able to book our first trip of the year for later this month. On behalf of all of us here at AFCHMS Aquaculture Club, we thank you!

Victor, there are so many great things about this. My guess is that you enjoy this experience as much as they do! I hope that the idea spreads and many more kids have the opportunity to catch their first fish this summer.
