Hi, guys! So I know everyone has started one of these, but I've finally decided to stop being stubborn and ask for help. All money donated will go towards the down payment for a new wheelchair van.
For almost the past year and a half, I have been without transportation as my wheelchair van's transmission went out. In addition to the transmission, there's a load of other problems with it. We've tried everything we can do to fix her, but Big Bertha (yes, I named my van) is down for the count.
Since I go to SFA (Go, 'Jacks!), which is about 2.5-3 hours from Dallas in Nacogdoches, TX, I'm only able to come home for Summer and Winter break. On top of that, when I am home I'm stuck inside (one person can only watch so much Netflix!).
A new van would truly make life better and easier for me, especially since wheelchair taxis are virtually impossible to book.
Donating just a few dollars, or even just a share will help tremendously!
