Helping Little Marianna Lynn

Donation protected

This is us, Myself, my husband Anthony and our two boys, 11 year old Logan in the black hat and his brother, Morgan, age 6 in white (we have older kidlets but they refused to have their photos posted). This is one of my favorite photos of us as a family... The photo above however is missing something, something I've been wanting since as far back as I can remember... a little girl.... That was a dream our family had given up on.

We tried, over and over for a little girl, However, after 5 failed pregnancies, the loss of our twin girls,  and the discovery of my cervical cancer, we gave up. I couldn't stand it anymore.

Then we got the news .... Your pregnant!! ITS A GIRL!!

Then the time came, June 16th, at 8 AM we arrived at the hospital to be induced... Marianna Lynn Burch was born at 5:27 PM, 6lbs 3 oz, 19 inches long, as beautiful and perfect as I ever imagined she could possibly be.

The Doctors, all lined up ready for the worst, pronounced her to be in perfect health and we were released from the hospital the very next day... much to my shock and amazement!

We headed home. with several very excited little boys waiting to meet and help with their new baby sister.

and the good news pretty much where the good time ends.

Mari was rehospitalized at 4 days old and thinks just kinda snowballed from there, much of it is covered in the updates here on her gofundme. but to bring everyone up to date, Marianna's last surgery went amazingly well, she's recovered with a record setting speed that left us all speechless.  We are becoming somewhat concerned about the tumor on her liver so they want to get that removed, so that'll be her next surgery, we haven't set a date yet though it will be within the next 2 months, definately before her birthday.

Mari will also be starting stem cell transplant treatment soon, which the Dr hasn't really fully explained to me yet and is making me a bit nervous, but he promised to give me a full rundown before treatment starts so I guess thats the best I can hope for just now.

Marianna is a toddering, playing, yammering, smiley, incredibly bright little girl... She runs, jumps, climbs and drives her mommy insane just like any almost 2 year old would. The main difference between Mari and other babys is she has neuroblastoma, pervasive and aggressive tumors throughout her body.  She had a tumor removed from her brainstem back in Oct of 2016 and has quite a few more to look forward to.

Slowly but surly we are proving wrong the doctors that deemed her "Incompatable with life" and we are working hard to keep her healthy and happy and to beat this. and we will beat it! Watch out neuroblastoma... Mari's about to kick your butt!
