I am sad to announce that due to lack of funding the rescue is going to have to close it’s doors to any new animals. We are going to have to realistically look at the future of the rescue and what it can offer.
As most people know Ross’s wages kindly cover our own household bills and my wages cover my own animals and the rescue animals.
However despite working over full time hours, I just can’t earn enough to maintain the rescue and taking a second job is just not feasible as I just don’t know how to fit it in.
I have tried so many other avenues of fundraising that I am physically and mentally exhausted from the worry and often sitting up to ridiculous o’clock listing and packaging items on eBay, getting up at 5 am on Sundays to do Car boot's and the heart ache of spending all the time setting up a stall to make £15 ♀️
The way people spend their money and treat their animals is evolving and we are struggling to keep up.
The animals coming in to the rescue have many complex needs, due to poor breeding and designer breeds than we have ever seen before and despite our vets great discount we are struggling to keep up with the bills, for instance our “emergency credit card currently has £3750 on it”
So we have taken the hard decision to close the doors to any new animals, until we are more financially secure.
Our bank balance is a mere £28 and with the rescue costing between £800 and £1500 a month we are in desperate need of your support .
We wilI never compromise the level of care we give to the animals, so unfortunately this is the only route forward.
Even if you can only donate a £1 it really means the world to us.
