Please Help Little Mackenzie Keep Her Family Close ❤️

Imagine the excitement to be expecting your first child. The excitement of the rest of the family as this is the first grandchild, niece, or cousin. Painting a babies room, searching for names, imagining who’s nose will she have? A due date of August 8 2018 that everyone was waiting so patiently for.
Then on the morning of 04/17/18 a very worried Marine rushes his wife who was 23 weeks pregnant to the military hospital in Virginia in fear her water had ruptured. After arriving to the first hospital it was quickly discovered that mom would need to be transported to Walter Read hospital in Maryland where they could care for her urgent needs. Quickly after arriving, mother was rushed into O.R for an emergency C-section. At 11:06 am little Makenzie was born weighing only 1 lb 3 ounces. She was quickly taken to the NICU unit and placed on a ventilator before mom could even see her. The staff at Walter Read explained to them that Makenzie would have to stay in NICU until her original projected due date of August 8th.
Along with many other things a part of Makenzie’s treatment will be skin to skin contact with mom and dad a couple of times a day.
Already beside themselves from an extremely stressful and unplanned event, these bran new parents now face a very large obstacle awaiting them for the next 3 months. That obstacle is that Joey and Brooke reside 1 hour and 40 minutes away from the hospital and will have to seek temporary full-time lodging near the hospital to ensure Makenzie receives the motherly nutrition and parental love she will requires to achieve success and eventually accompany her parents to her new home as a family. Even staying on base in temporary housing (which is the cheapest)will cost them 100.00 a day. Not to mention Brooke not being able to return to work.
This is where you come in! Your kind donation will immediately help Joey and Brooke secure local lodging so they can give little Makenzie the edge she desperately needs this early in life and allow her parents a little less stress as they overcome one of the greatest obstacles in their life. Thank you in advance for helping this family with any amount you can afford and of course your prayers and well wishes.
