Thank you for visiting this fundraising page. We are reaching out to the community in efforts to make a very tragic time a little bit more bearable.
As many of you know, the lives of Traci (43), Ricky (17), Phillis (16), Justin (15), Jayden (12), Nate (9), and Mia (4) have been changed forever due to the events that took place on January 14. As a domestic violence incident escalated and a fire destroyed what they once called home, they escaped with only the clothes on their backs.
At the time, Traci was working two jobs, diligently trying to do all she could do to make ends meet.
Ricky and Justin are both members of the Will C. Wood Basketball Program. Phillis is a hard-working and supportive sister who enjoys spending time with her friends. Jayden and Nate are both leaders at Padan School who love to play Fortnite and will challenge anyone to a game of basketball while little Mia is a big ball of energy who loves to boss around her older siblings.
In its current state, their home is uninhabitable due to fire, water and smoke damage. In addition most of their clothes, necessities and personal belongings were destroyed as well. After such a traumatic incident, this family desperately needs a new start.
As they journey forward, the family will need all of the basic essentials of setting up a household, including rental deposits, bedding, furniture, kitchen supplies, and clothing for each child. As Traci recovers, they will also need funds to make ends meet.
Those that know the Hamilton-Holland family love them dearly. They are good people with kind hearts and a drive to be the best version of themselves that they can be. Please help us to help them as they pick up the pieces and start a new life.
