Helping the Derrick family

I am never one to ask for help, and those who know me will agree.  Our family has been delt some bad cards lately, and due to those bad cards we are struggling financially.  I have been battling an on going  infection that has caused the loss of my job and also requiring now a second surgery on my foot . I have just been released from a 13 day stay in the hospital where i underwent my second surgery, extencive IV antibiotics, that then threw me into acute renal failure.  
I am now home and have a long road of healing ahead of me, i am non weight baring and can not drive for quite some time. Therefore preventing me from working.  
This is something that is very hard for me, i am the helper!!! Your generosity is appriciated ! Thank you
