Helping Little Dax

My dearest friends, Calla and Matt, and their sweet family have come upon some very unfortunate news.
On Monday the 27th of November they took their youngest, Dax, to the doctor due to a hurt foot and low energy. The doctors said he had a fracture and decided to run some blood tests, but sent them home. Within hours they got a call that Dax needed to immediately be brought back to the ER. From there he was transported directly by ambulance to Oakland Children’s Hospital. After a lot of testing, Dax ( 2 years old) was diagnosed with Leukemia and needed to start Chemo right away. The doctors are anticipating 8 months ( at the least) of Chemo and of Dax being in and out of the hospital for treatments.
In light of this news, I know that the Cohen Family will need our help. Between medical expenses, travel costs , and inevitable loss of wages things are going to add up. I want to help them raise funds so that their focus can be where it needs to be, on Dax and helping their family get through this life altering news.
Please consider helping them out in any way that you can. Any amount helps. They are a family of givers, and now it’s time for us to show them what it feels like to receive and have a community of support rallying for Dax.
