Helping Rich get his life back

Donation protected
On 21st April 2017, Rich was involved in a horrendous motorbike accident on his morning commute to work. He was air ambulanced to St. Georges in Tooting with multiple injuries, and where he stayed for 7 weeks before being transferred to Stanmore, a specialist spinal rehab unit where he resided for 3 months to recover and rehabilitate, as he has been paralysed from the chest down.

His injuries are life changing and sadly since that day, apart from the birth of our gorgeous baby girl Kára life has been nothing but challenging and a bit of a downward spiral due to our dire living circumstances and not being able to find anywhere to live, and our lack of funds . I dont doubt that our luck will change but at the moment its hard to see if there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

We have had so much support from amazing friends and family, but it was suggested to me to reach out further to help improve Rich‘s quality of life, and get him back working to some capacity as well, so to get funding towards a bike attachment to help exercise as well as computer equipment and software to pursue his modelmaking/prosthetics career.

No one likes asking for money, and no one sees themselves in this position when working towards their life goals, but sadly our lives have been turned massively upside down and its a long, slow process to get it back to some sort of normality, and our lives seem to be in the hands of the legal system which wont materlise until the next couple of years.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.
