Helping Matthew reach his fullest potential inlife

It has been 3 and half years since our sweet Matthew was dignosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. These past years have been a struggle to watch my child lost in his own world and not being able to verbalize, not being able to hear the words "I love you mommy" or even just "mommy" or "mom" at all, was heart breaking for me as his mother.

Matthew is now 6 years old and just recently was finally approved for and has started ABA and IBI therapy a month ago, only to find out that he will only be able to attend his sessions for another month before they cut off funding for him, due to the new government rules. Unfortunately this therapy is terribly expensive for any family, but especially as a single parent. His sessions are 55 dollars an hour which Matthew attends Tuesday and Thursday from 8 am to 4 pm.

In just a matter of weeks that Matthew has attended these sessions, he started calling me "mommy", something I thought I would have never heard. And to think that this help will all be coming to an end is heart breaking for me! Being a single mother has been the hardest thing in my life and I try every day to give Matthew the best life possible .

Any help would be so much appreciated for my son Matthew to continue his therapy and so he could be given the best chances to express himself and succeed in life.
