Helping Jack Cadmus

As some of you know,  Jack, my Dad, is experiencing a sudden illness which has changed our lives.  It started with trouble swallowing.  Then he couldn't eat.  Then he couldn't drink.  After a month of tests and waiting, a tumor was found.    After more tests and pain and waiting, we have a diagnosis.  

    Stage IV Esophageal Cancer.  This is an aggressive cancer which is creeping into his stomach.  It has spread to his liver.   He has another symptom called Malignant Ascites.   This means cancerous cells were found in the rapidly accumulating fluid around his organs.  This is a cancer which is not considered to have a cure.  

    In the meantime, Jack was unable to go to work, so he lost insurance.  Now there is no health insurance, no life insurance, no vision, no dental,  and no way to pay the bills.  His wife and young son are doing their best to face this situation and the new financial burden.  With bills due yesterday, we have an urgent need for help.  Anything you can provide is greatly appreciated.   All money will go to household bills and medical expenses including in-home care, appointments, treatment and prescriptions.
