Helping Harry’s Journey PUP

Donation protected
Hello, let me introduce you to my super hero of a son Harry. He is 6 years old, ( 7 on 25th March 2018) on 5th March 2018 Harry was diagnosed with an aggressive glioma of the pons (brain stem).
Of course my self and his mother Fiona are heart broken by this news along with the rest of our family and friends. The only way to treat this type of tumour is Radio therapy. Harry starts a 6 week treatment on Wednesday 14th March. Which will last for 6 weeks. We are hoping this will halt the tumour, which should then open more treatment doors.
This is a very rare cancer with minimal clinical trials around presently. We have to be in London for 5 days a week for the radiotherapy treatment which means I will be spending half the week in London and half the week at home with Harry's Elder sister Emonie who attends the local school.

With the future looking so uncertain and Harry having treatment for the foreseeable future I have withdrawn from my businesses I own to concentrate and spend valuable time with Harry. He has a big bucket list of things he wants to do including visiting Corfu again ( his happy place). We have lots of plans for him too.
We are raising funds to help with our living costs whilst harry under goes treatment in London and any further treatments that may arise outside of the NHS, we want to be prepared for every option. All our usual bills at home will need to still be paid along with staying in one of the most expensive city's in the world....our living costs have doubled.

Harry is a massive Pompey Fan and has a Season ticket. He loves going down to watch the football on a Saturday with the rest of the boys and we plan to continue to take him all the time he is in good health.

Harry has already had some hurdles to over come through out his short life, he was non verbal until after his 5th Birthday and was diagnosed with autism. He has struggled with his speech but made great progress at school and could read before he could talk (work that out) Harry struggles to socialise with other children but he has never let it hold him back, myself and his mother are so proud of the boy he has become and want to be able to do everything in our power to ensure the remainder of his life is happy.

Harry is currently full of life, has been attending school and has very few symptoms, which I'm told is a great sign.

Fingers crossed this first treatment will help to halt the tumor...we should know by end of May ish if it's been successful....

Thank you for Reading Harry's Story and thank you for the support, it means so much to us.
