Helping Farmer David Hand

Dear Friends and Family,
As many of you have now heard, Farmer David was in a serious accident at the Farm maze three days ago where he had to be med-flighted out and underwent a 6+ hour surgery to stabilize his spine. He is facing a long road ahead and then much rehabilitation.
The building of the GreenHand Farm Park Maze has been a dream of his and each year he has added more attractions and in return gotten so much happiness and joy from seeing families with their children enjoying old fashioned outdoor fun whether it be hay rides to the pumpkin patch, barrel rides, zombie paintball fun, the bee car, and delicious Farmer Dave's Barbecue.
Our family has been overwhelmed and taken much comfort in your many FB prayers and asking how one might help. All donations to this fund will go towards medical and rehab costs.
His road to recovery will be a long one but any who know Farmer Dave know he has always conquered any challenges he may face.
I am setting up this Go Fund Me because although they do have medical coverage, co-pays will need to be paid. I'm sure many charges will not be fully covered. I have been told that the med-flight charge before insurance could run 40-50,000 dollars. That copay alone is going to be significant.

My Uncle once said that the first time he saw Peter Pan as a young child, he knew who he wanted to be when he grew up. The little boy that lives forever and never grows up. Any of you who know or have met him, know that is how he has truly lived his life.
I am looking forward to the day where we can all once again see him with a twinkle in his eye and a smile on his face welcoming us to the maze and telling us to "Come on in. Enjoy! Hop on my Bee Train, or go up against my zombies with a paintball gun. Surely, you will win!" He truly is our families Peter Pan.
