Hello--
I'm asking for help on behalf of our club so that we can aid Cavalier King Charles Spaniel owners and their pets (whether they're club members or not) all over the greater Houston area. Your donations will go directly towards cleanup, new crates, bedding, food, toys, grooming, food, and medical needs for dogs belonging to displaced and affected owners, and also to help approved volunteers safely transport dogs to approved fosters with our national Cavalier Rescue Trust while their families recover from this ongoing and still-worsening disaster.
Our membership is made up of Cavalier owners and lovers from the greater Houston area and other parts of Texas, and several of them have been directly and profoundly affected by the ongoing flooding catastrophe that has resulted from Hurricane Harvey. If we can help them and others with their dogs, it's a small thing, but as anyone with a dog knows, they're family!
The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club of Greater Houston, Inc. is recognized and licensed by the American Kennel Club. Established in 1997, our club is registered and recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization. Our club is also a member club of the American Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club, our national breed club. We are very active in the greater Houston area in promoting responsible dog ownership and all aspects of living with and enjoying our wonderful breed, and we also fundraise for and support our national Cavalier Rescue Trust.
