Helping An 10 Year Old With AML Leukemia

On Friday July 12th a dear friend of mine of 10+ years got the worst possible news a mother could ever get. A call from the doctors office led to a hectic Friday afternoon rush to the hospital, where after hours of testing the worst news was delivered. Her sweet baby girl was diagnosed with AML Leukemia. Everyone is totally devastated because this little girl has always been the little mama of the group of my friends and our kids. She is so super sweet, smart and just such a good kid. With everything going on, plus the waiting of her little sister (mom is pregnant) which she is super excited for, she is being super brave and strong. I know no family is truly prepared for news such as this, her mom now has to take a leave from work to be with her daughter, plus she is expecting her second child (she is currently 8 months along) I just wanted to start this page to help this family with some of their financial burdens they face.
