Help get Emilee to YAGP NYC final

Our daughter Emilee Blake is one of 2 Australian classical ballet students to have been selected from the video audition round to compete at the prestigious Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) competition final to be held in New York City, in April 2018. YAGP is one of the biggest ballet competitions in the world with over 5000 dancers worldwide apply with only a few hundred making the finals in New York, with the goal of securing a place at a leading pre-professional school. To have been given this opportunity is just incredible and will be an experience of a life time for our Em!!

Emilee is a dedicated and talented young dancer from Perth, Western Australia who currently trains in full-time classical program with Katherine Mantle Performing Arts Academy (KMPAA) and needs your help. The expenses involved in attending the YAGP final in New York are a huge financial commitment and something as a family we will struggle to do, especially with a such short time turnaround time between acceptance and participation, so this our main opportunity to fund raise.

Emilee is now looking for support from family, friends and the wider dance community who understand the dedication, sacrifices and financial commitment required for these talented young dancers such as Emilee to achieving excellence in Classical ballet and for one day achieving the ultimate goal of becoming a professional ballet dancer in a world renowned company overseas.

Unfortunately there is very little or no funding available to support students like Emilee to help them with the enormous financial commitment as they prepare for one of the World’s most prestigious ballet competitions. 

Your kind donations and generosity no matter how big or small will help Emilee with the costly travel related expenses, competition entry fees, accommodation, classes, coaching and multiple pairs of pointe shoes as she prepares for the experience of a life time.
