Mom needs nursing home care.

She's got alzheimers.  For ten years I've cared for her at home.  These last four years two of us have provided round-the-clock care, even sleeping lightly in the room with her to make sure she didn't fall when she got up at night.  

But we can't keep her safe at home any more.  We've found a really good facility for her where she gets the attention and care she needs.  MassHealth will kick in to help with future expenses there, but they're disallowing almost $10,000, or the first month's stay.

Please help mom stay where she can be safe, and get the care she needs.

We'll fight more through this process, and appeal, but these things take time, and mom needs the care now.  If we make headway, any money not spent directly on mom's nursing home expenses will be donated to Alzheimers research and care.
