Help Sasha get to her forever home

Sasha worked hard to do her job for the people she trusted and she brought them to the winners circle. She was loyal, loving and faithful. Sadly, with many humans the addiction to the high of winning and the glitz and glamour shine more than the loyalty to the lives that got them in that circle, and those who could see beyond the show room glamour could not keep her permanently safe. Sasha matured beyond the show rings use and became unwanted. She has been seeking her forever home while with Rescue Every Dog (R.E.D.) but needs your help.

Sasha is a stunning chestnut American Saddlebred mare. Sasha is a kind and easy mare that is willing and eager to please. She came to R.E.D. looking for a new permanent home and possible new job.

In her youth Sasha was a successful saddleseat country pleasure show horse in the NW region with quite the show record. She has previously been used as a saddleseat pleasure horse for a local trainer, and also worked as a lesson horse for beginner and intermediate+ riders. Sasha excels in many areas, including being a gentle kids horse, flatwork lesson horse, or a kind mare for an adult who wants a horse to love on and ride lightly. She has the right temperament to be able to be ridden anywhere including on trails. Sasha still has plenty of spring in her step and truly enjoys working. She is a solid horse, and a dream to ride. Sasha is a quiet, kind horse, and has been loved by all who have met her throughout the years. Multiple volunteers and her trainer have said that if they had a kid this would be their pick of a horse for them and themselves. Sasha is an amazing “been there, done that” mare who knows her job and deserves the right home to give her a place in their family.

That's where you come in, before Sasha can go to her forever home Sasha needs her teeth floated, and needs 4 rounds of chiropractic appointments to help correct an injury to her pelvis area that is bothering her. She is making great progress already on this healing and needs this last push to better. Her teeth float will cost $250 and her chiropractic visits are $150 a piece. This does not cover any of the additional other costs R.E.D. has incurred on food, farrier and care costs. Please, help us get Sasha the vet care she needs to get her ready to go to her forever home, and help R.E.D. continue to honor and help companion animals like Sasha, by funding our life saving rescue missions.
