My nephew Josh Zion Vilbar Sanchez is diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma at a very young age (15 years old). It is a group of blood cancer that include all types of lymphoma. Lymphoma are type of cancer that develop from lymphocytes (a type of white blood cells). It is hard for a child to accept the fact that he has cancer but Zion is a strong boy. He firmly believed that he can win this fight and will become a doctor someday. Zion is an achiever both in academic and sport that's why I am asking for your prayers and support to help him win this fight. The moment his doctor informed him about the diagnosis and the course of treatment, Zion's first question was "can I still go to school while undergoing treatment?". He was devastated for some time but he remain positive despite the hardships he is going through. Zion's parents already spent huge amount of money for his treatment. Initially, he was confined in OSPA Medical Center in Ormoc City Philippines and was referred to Chong Hua Hospital, Cebu City Philippines and transferred to CEBU DOCTORS HOSPITAL, PHILIPPINES where he all his diagnostic tests such CT-Scan, Biopsy, Bone marrow test and spinal Fluid test and other definitive test to rule out cancer perfomed. Presently, he is having his chemotherapy treatment in Cebu Doctors' University Hospital Philippines every MWF & Saturday. He will also have a spinal fluid check every 2 weeks and Bone Marrow check monthly. Please continue to pray with us as we go through this really difficult time and thank you to everyone that has reached out. Due to this recent turn of events, our family is financially limited and I am personally knocking on your generous hearts and please know that your help has given Zion's family relief and reprieve in this very difficult time.
Note: Health care in Philippines is not free.
Thank you for your prayers and support.
