Help Xero get the tools he needs

Donation protected
See that photo up there? That was my old Wacom Cintiq. It died a few months ago. That's why we're here.

I genuinely loathe asking for handouts, and while I'm aiming to not make this a matter of holding my hat out, the truth remains that I need help.

I want to finally be able to get a new Cintiq so that I can start offering custom map and art services for my little company, Haunted Mountain. The issue I'm running into is that one has to spend money to make money, and with the cost of our move and promotional materials I'm crafting free of charge, the earliest I would be able to personally afford these tools would be late 2019. At earliest.

The money raised will go directly to purchasing a new Cintiq and desktop. This would also benefit my writing career, as I do the cover art for all of my book releases. With Haunted Mountain, it would allow me to offer those custom maps, as well as character illustrations for those wishing them.

Some might ask about the Patreon, and they'd be right to do so. As it stands, the most I've left over from Patreon on a given month is 20 bucks after bills. I've gone ahead and factored that in to the total amount here.

And, I'm not about to accept something for nothing. For lower-end donations, I'll be giving those kind folks the same rewards I currently give my Patreon supporters, for as many months as the donation would cover.

For the particularly generous ($100+), I am counting that donation as a commission slot, and will be in contact with those people to see what they would like in return, be it a standard dice tray from my company, a custom map for their own games, or a single illustration of their game's character.

To be frank, I don't expect to hit the goal, as it's asking a lot. But, anything I can raise towards it helps my wife and I out immeasurably, and let's me get to work on expanding my little dream that much sooner. In short, it helps me get back to work, and earning my keep.

Thanks for checking this out.
