Help Wyatt breathe

Tax deductible
Since I've had Wyatt (scooped up from the shelter in December due to a heart condition), he's had episodes of exercise intolerance. He stops mid-play sesh and will open mouth breathe to get air. For months, I thought this was a symptom of his heart condition. His heart wasn't working as effectively as it should, so his body wasn't getting the oxygen it needed.

Until he had his cardio re-eval.

Because his condition has been stable for 6 months, his cardiologist believes these episodes are unrelated. When I mentioned the possibility of an upper respiratory obstruction (possibly polyps vs nasal stenosis vs something else), the cardiologist conducted her exam and agreed.

Now that he's been cleared by the cardiologist for anesthesia should he need it, he was seen by another specialist. The plan is for Wyatt to undergo a thorough exam under anesthesia, as its nearly impossible to clearly examine his nasal passages and oropharynx while he's awake, remove polyps or correct obstruction should one be found vs CT scan if no obstruction can be clearly identified.

It's always my goal to set my fosters up for the best quality of life possible in the future. If you'd like to contribute to helping Wyatt play like the sweet little maniac he is, we'd GREATLY appreciate it!

The surgeon has already graciously discounted the procedures and consult. Wyatt's existing bills + estimate totals $1722.37 ($50 consult, $292.30 f/u echo, and $1380.07 surgical estimate). I've set the fundraiser a little higher to cover fees and any possible changes, as the surgeon may need to change his plan per his exam findings and I told him to do what needs to be done as long as it can be done safely to avoid requiring future surgical procedures and anesthesia. Any funds over what Wyatt needs will be used for any of his future bills or the other fur monsters. 100% of donations ALWAYS go to the babies!

Thank you SO SO much! I couldn't help these babies without your support!
