My mother's funeral expense

Hi, my names Angel and I'm not usually one to ask for help. My mom Patricia Miller, 70, of Parkersburg WV was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer at the end of October which had spread to her lymp notes, liver, and a couple other places throughout her body. She was in the the hospital for a week and the doctors there told her chemo wouldn't help her and she may have 3-6 mths but she got a second opinion and this doctor talked up the chemo so much that she got my mom's hopes up alot...so she went along with it. They did a 2 hr chemo treatment on her then a 22 hr one(5FU chemo treatment) and after the 22 hr one she was never the same!! Her first night after the 5FU chemo treatment she had a horrible night and I called for the nurse and asked her what in the world was going on with my mom because her symptoms were awful and no where in the papers that they gave me did it say those symptoms were possible(I have video's from that night also so my family could see how bad it had gotten...and they're horrible to watch)...but they just kept telling me she was ok and giving her more and more drugs and the doctor didn't even come in to see her until after 7am the next morning and immediately sent her to the ICU...where they had to intubate her and try her hands down. They did have a antidote but it took them over 10 hrs to get it to her and it was to late by then...it didn't help. The cancer doctor admitted to me and my Uncle that "SHE" never even thought that this side effect was possible or she would've warned us about it and that she's only seen this happen to 2 other patients and she said they weren't her patients and they were in Columbus but they made it. The nurses admitted also that she had been overdosed her on medication. So the day before Thanksgiving we had to make the decision whether to let our mom go or not and we did...following her wishes. So at 6:10 am on Thanksgiving morning we lost our mom. She did have a $7000 life insurance and my mom thought that would cover it...we all did but it didnt. The $7000 covered everything except the grave site, the opening & closing of the ground and her vault for her casket...which is mandatory where she's buried...which was around $5000. Thankfully my brother gave $1000 & my aunt & uncle gave $1500 and my husband put the rest on a credit card which was right around $2400 because that's all we had & we had to have the money up front. We still have to get her plaque which has to be bronze and has to have granite under it. We've raised some money for it but not enough. Any money raised will go towards my moms plaque and to pay our credit card off that we had to use. ANY help at all would be so appreciated!!! Thank you!!
