Help William Get Surgery This Summer!

Hello friends, family, and kind strangers!
If you don't already know me, hi, my name is William! Nice to meet you!
I'm 26 years old, I live in Texas, and I'm a student at UTSA currently pursuing my degree in Modern Language Studies. Oh, and I am transgender! I was assigned to the female sex at birth, but later in life I discovered that I feel much happier and more comfortable identifying as male.
Being transgender is not easy, but it's a path I am happy to walk. I have chosen my place in life and it fits me! :)
One thing I have always wanted, however, is the opportunity to get surgery on my chest. Since I went through "female" puberty the first time around, I developed breast tissue like any other teenage girl would. In order to get what I consider a "male" chest, I would require a double-mastectomy. This is what a lot of transgender people refer to as "Top Surgery".
In 2020, I have big plans. I'm either going to study abroad or teach in South Korea for a full year. Thus, 2019 may be my last chance to get surgery here in the US until I come back. It would make my life so much easier and more comfortable if I didn't have to deal with "binding" my chest every day to make it look flat.
My goal is to raise enough money to pay for my surgery by this summer. (July 2019) I know I might not make that goal, but I am willing to try for later this year as well, if possible!
It will cost around $8,000 for the surgery (insurance will not cover this procedure), which is a sum of money that I have never been able to save, as much as I have tried. I am asking only for a little bit of help, as I put in my full effort to save as much money as I can for this life-changing surgery.
