On Sunday, June 24th 2018 William was involved in a serious incident while visiting Mexico City. William stayed with a host family he had known from church and his desire was to learn the language. The incident occurred when came home to his apartment he rented for the time being and smelled gas. He checked the water heater and it exploded. William’s body was 60% burned affecting his lower extremities and face. Our family is raising funds to help cover the costs of him getting the proper care he needs in the United States. The conditions in Mexico are not suitable enough to treat his burns. Therefore, the only option we have is getting help from a flying nurse who will assist William the entire time during his flight back home. This will also cover, transportation and ambulance services. Please help our family by donating to this cause, we truly appreciate it.

- Monitoring vital signs per Sky Nurses protocol
- Monitoring oxygen saturation and administering oxygen per physicians orders to keep saturation above 92% during flight
- Monitoring blood sugar and administering medication per discharging physician's orders (if applicable)
- Administering routine medications as ordered by the discharging physician and/or medications as needed per Sky Nurses protocols
- Continuous comfort care and personal hygiene throughout the flight
- Nutrition based on discharging physician's orders
- Physical therapy of the lower extremities to prevent possible DVT (deep vien thrombosis) during the flight
