Help us to help our Dad!

Dear family and friends, We are starting a GOFUNDME in honor of our father James Lauria, who’s health has recently declined and he is no longer able to work.  For those of you who may not know, our dad has Pulmonary Fibrosis, a debilitating and progressive illness which has no cure.  As you can imagine this would be an incredibly heartbreaking prognosis for anyone, but especially for our dad who has always been very active and incredibly social.  Our dad, as you all know, is one of the most thoughtful and  generous people you'll ever meet.  He is also very proud and up until recently was still working.  He has never been one to ask for help and it is our wish to give back to him for all he has done for us and for so many others. There is no definitive time frame for our dad's illness or its progression, but it is our hope that he will be able to rest easier, if he can focus on spending his time with family and friends rather than working which has taken its toll on him physically.  We set up this GOFUNDME so he no longer has to worry about the financial responsibilities of life, be able to stay in his home, and focus his time on family and friends. It is our dad's only wish that he be able to stay in his home and with your donations and support we can make this happen.  If you are unable to donate, prayers and good vibes are just as important. We want to thank the many friends and family who have supported our Dad with rides to his appointments, home-made meals and their continued visits to check in on him.  The support has not gone unnoticed and keeps our Dad's spirits up.This page was set up with love by Caitlin & Kelsey Lauria.  We love you Daddy!
