We are returning to Standing Rock Dec 4th to help to help protect the water and stand with our Native Brothers and Sisters. Also take a second load of supplies and donations. We thank everyone for their donations and hate we must ask again for help. If you can and are drawn to do so we certainly would Appreciate it.
Barry 60th Birthday was Thursday Oct. 27th, I asked him how he wants to celebrate this auspicious day. He said to go stand with his indigious brothers and sisters at Standing Rock. Most of you know Barry has Native American Heritage and has always followed the Red Road. He has protested in the past on Native American issues. He has studied and spoken on the history of the Native American injustices. He now being lead to be part of this fight for this injustice once again. It is hard to put ourselves out there like this, but much harder for those who are struggling daily to save their land and water!
Our hearts are drawn to help this under reported strife of our indigenous people. We are reporting on BLOG talk on our show and others Sacred Journeys Radio, every day to spread the truth of what is happening! The ruination of reservation land, sacred burial sites etc. All to lay a pipe line without consent or understanding of effect on people living there and around. Not to mention it threatens the entire countries water as well. It is planned to cross the Missouri River 3 times then empty into Mississippi River. Also the people are being attacked by dogs, tear gas, percussion grenade and water cannons from the pipeline company and arrested by unfair judicial sysytems. Its time for us all to stand up against Native injuctices that have exsited for hundreds of years. Treaties are not upheld and lands being reclaimed for greed. We know many of you would love to be involved but cannot be due to work and family obligation.

P.S. Amount of money asked for is much more then we require to travel and stay. We asked for more so that any monies not spent on travel and supplies will be donated to Standing Rock for supplies, legal fees etc.
