Help us house orphans of war and drought-Ethiopia.

Charity Cause:
We are two students from Norway with a vision looking to build an orphanage for victimized children who lost their families during political conflicts in Ethiopian-Somali region.  With the worsening drought, conditions have been deteriorating since the initial conflicts began. Every child has the right to a safe place where they can sleep and eat, regardless of political or environmental effects. It makes a HUGE difference if you can donate 20kr (2 euro) or a sum of your choice. 

How your donations will help:
Our main focus will be the children without parents. The pilot project of building an orphanage will accommodate 20 orphans and 6 mothers who will then be the primary caretakers of the orphanage. 

The funds will go to: 
100% of the Funds are going to the building of the Orphanage. Specifically, buying a small amount of land and building materials. The labor is going to be voluntary work by people in the village who are ready to help. The basic necessities after construction will be acquired through the agreements that we have formed with local charities and donations. 

Do you want to stay updated on how your donations are helping?  When we have reached our first milestone (3000 euros or 30 000NOK) we will make a short video showing the purchase of the land. We are also going to make a website where all receipts are going to be published to make everything as transparent as possible.

Our contact people are 7 youths and adults whom want to change their rural area and village by helping their people. And together, with you, we are hoping to make a change for this village. We met these wonderful people during our trip with my mother.
