The Connecticut School of Survival has been a devoted proponent of youth empowerment in the City of New Haven since its inception. CSS has instilled discipline, confidence and self-esteem to youth and adult populations throughout the City of New Haven for over 15 years. The school has endorsed physical and mental health enrichment through the delivery of skill building and education programs primarily focused on peer mediation,the acquisition of sound wellness and healthy nutrition habits, in addition to the study of the martial arts. CSS has a rich history of partnership with the City of New Haven via its Youth Services andEmployee Wellness Programs. CSS has also given fully and partially paid sponsorships to low income and at-risk youth to train at their facility in New Haven.
