Help us fund Minnow's leg surgery

Tax deductible
Panther Ridge Conservation Center is trying to raise money for Minnow's leg and paw surgery.

Minnow is an endangered fishing cat, native to southeast Asia. Fishing cats live in the mangrove swamps that are being rapidly destroyed in place of commercial fisheries. Like their name suggests, these unusual little cats can swim extremely well with their webbed feet and semi retractable claws.  Unfortunately the fishing cats are being squeezed out, and are forced to hunt for small mammals and birds on land. Many are hit by cars.

Minnow came to us as a young cub. The older he got, the more noticeable his crooked his leg became. Our vet was hopeful that he would grow out of  it, but as the months have gone by, it now seems to be getting worse by the day and causing him pain! If it is not surgically corrected, he will live a life of misery - his leg and paw will become so arthritic that it will be excruciating to take even one step.

Panther Ridge Conservation Center, located in Loxahatchee, Florida, is home to over 20 exotic felines and 9 different species. We give educational tours of our amazing cats, and offer our visitors an in depth look at how each species is faring in this world where extinction is closing in.

Please help us return little Minnow to a condition of good physical health. He, like all of our cats, has a forever home here at Panther Ridge, and will be with us for the rest of his life.
