Our dad has always taught us to work hard, be kind, and never judge others.
This man, for the past thirty-plus years has gotten up every morning at the crack of dawn to go to work and provide for his family. He is a husband and an amazing father to four girls and grandfather to three more little ladies.
He does everything from being a handyman, working maintenance, to landscaping. Anything to feed, clothe and put a roof over our heads. But what he enjoys most is the printing business, he's been a press operator for over 25 years. That’s what he loves, yet he will never turn down any job and is always willing to learn things.
He is getting older now, has survived a heart attack and yet still continues to work hard and provide for our family. But now he needs our help. Unfortunately, yesterday on his way to the doctor's office, he got pulled over because of a tail light out. He doesn’t have a valid driver's license. It expired years ago and he is unable to get another one because of his legal status.
This is his life. While he continues everyday to devote his time to the well being of others instead of his, there is always the fear of losing him. He is not a criminal. He is not a bad person. And he is always ready to help when he sees someone in need. ICE now has a hold on him while he is detained in county jail. We do not know if we will be able see or hug him again.
He is the head of household and main provider. The loss of him is devastating to our family. My mom works as a housekeeper but it is not enough to stay afloat. We are asking for your help.
Your money will immediately go into paying for attorney and court fees. We are hoping and praying that God will open doors and bring him back home. Your contributions will assist us in our attempt to keep our family together. Anything will be greatly appreciated.
