Help Us Begin Our Adoption Journey

Hi friends and family,

We have an update for you, we have made a decided to go with Adoption Network Law Center. After careful consideration and investigation prior to making any commitments (and after great advice from a dear friend who is an attorney) we realized our initial move to potentially go with CAC was not right for us.  We have committed to this relationship but have quite a bit of creative fundraising to go before we can solidify that partnership. Ultimately our goal of saving, working, fundraising is at  approximately $45,000.  Our first goal is to complete our home study which will allow us to apply for many grant opportunities and low to no interest loans.  We fully acknowledge something of this magnitude requires the assistance an intimate community of friends, family, even strangers through the grape vine. A collective effort, as humbling a thought it may be, is our only chance for success. We want to thank you all of you for your thoughts, your money you've entrusted to us, but most of all your prayers. We strongly believe that God answers them especially when backed by a thousand voices. It is well established in our hearts as a fact, that with your prayers, God can provide everything! Hi friends and family,  after thoughtful prayer we are thrilled to announce that we have made the decision to grow our family through adoption. We have always known we wanted to grow our family through adoption either before or after having biological children of our own.

Life doesn't always work out as you plan and as many of you might already know Lee and I have struggled with the heartache and loss of 7 miscarriages throughout our 7 years of marriage. Little did we know through all the struggles, our hearts were being prepared and strengthened to make a life changing decision to fulfill our calling to become parents to an adopted child.

We will begin our journey with Christian Adoption Consultants, who will guide us through the adoption process. Our first step is to apply with them and to move forward with our Home Study.  Once the Home Study is completed we will be able to apply to various nationwide grants and/or loans. Through a partnership with CAC, we will be able to work with multiple adoption agencies across the country. This will increase our chances of being matched with a birth family and ultimately growing our hearts and family.

Our goal is to start this process as soon as possible. However we are quickly finding that even getting started financially is a daunting task. We would be incredibly grateful for any support given to help us get our start on bringing our child home. Any contributions will be applied to our application fee with CAC and home study fees.
