He's Came This Far No Stopping Now!

Donation protected
We have a friend/co worker, Ann, who's family is in need of your help. Our friend is probably one of the strongest women I have ever met. With everything she and her family has been through, and is going through she still remains so together. Let me start from the beginning. In 2014, she was told that her son, Tylor, had a very enlarged heart. He was diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy and was in the end stage of heart failure and was immediately put on the heart transplant list. His health started to rapidly decline and it was taking a toll on his other organs, a pump was implanted on his heart. This kept him going for 22 months while they waited for "the call". That call was received January 31st, 2016. A donor had been found. Tylor underwent a successful heart transplant, though, this recovery did not come without complications. But, nothing was stopping this remarkable young man from persevering through it all. He was 18 years old now and finally able to be somewhat of a normal teenager. Because he has to take medication that lowers his immune system so his body doesn't reject his heart, he is vulnerable to germs. In July 2017, Tylor was exposed to the Epstein Bar Virus, also known as mono. He battled this virus for months, and because there is no cure, or medication for this, he was closely monitored. Finally, 2018, they thought he had overcome it because his lab showed it was undetectable. In May, Tylor noticed a lump on the side of his neck, then another one even bigger than the first. Hoping the swollen nodes were just the virus coming back, but after numerous tests, labs plus scans, it showed that Tylor now has Stage Two Classic Hodgkins Lymphoma. He was admitted into Childrens Hospital and had a port placed in his chest. He then started round one of four inpatient chemo cocktails. Tylor, now at the young age of only 20 years old, has yet another battle. With all that Tylor has been, and is still going through, none of this has changed him. He is still an amazing guy with a great sense of humor and a will that is unstoppable! ~ You didn't come this far to only come this far ~ #thefightison

Ann has taken a leave of absence from work to be right next to her son through, yet, another battle. Though her husband is still working, which has to be so hard, bills are piling up. Ann's car is not reliable enough to get back and forth to Iowa City. The car she is chancing back and forth, with Tylor,  has excileration issues, does not have air conditioning, and probably is pretty much on its last leg. Along with Tylor, Ann has a 9 yr old daughter at home, as well. Ann would never ask for help from anyone, but we are asking for help for this family. They are going through so much, as it is, I hate that they have to struggle and worry about  finances and how their going to make it day to day when they should only have to focus on Tylor and their family right now.  Please, any amount, that could be given to this family is that much less they have to worry about. Every bit adds up!
