Help Troubled Teens In America
We have a serious problem with our youth...
Many teenagers are not getting the support they need to grow up and become responsible young adults.
Because many parents both work full time jobs and are divorcing, this is leaving many of their children to have to figure out how to become mature adults on their own.
The depression in teenagers is growing at an all time high. Many kids are taking anti-depressants like Xanax to have to try and cope with their problems.
Teachers at schools are overwhelmed with having to try and teach many disobedient and defiant teenagers who are not only not interested in learning, but are missing classes or being disrespectful to their teachers.
So here is what we want to do...
We want to hire a life coach and counselor to put together some group programs for these kids that will help mentor and guide them so that they can learn skills such as conflict resolution, communication, responsibility, how to develop good habits, and teach them some structure and discipline.
We have partnered with the Coaching Institute and Parenting Teenagers Academy who are willing to donate half the amount of the costs if we can raise the other half.
This project is step one in this process.
We plan on launching a pilot program in Los Angeles where we are going to offer low income single parents the opportunity to enroll their kids in this program at no cost.
Our goal is to launch this in the beginning of 2019 when kids get back to school so the coaching and mentoring program will run concurrent with their school. Basically, this is an after school program that will help parents keep their kids out of trouble and focused on doing something positive rather than spending time on social media or playing video games.
Please....we need your help!
Help us create a program that provides an opportunity for teenagers to learn how to become more responsible so that they have the tools to live a healthy and happy life so they don't end up in counseling or therapy.
If this is successful, we plan on growing this program throughout Los Angeles and then eventually nationwide. You have an opportunity to help catalyze our grass roots efforts!
