Help Tracy Kick Cancer's Ass

In January 2018 our good friend and co-worker, Tracy, found a lump on her breast. Tracy’s family has a history with breast cancer so immediately she feared the worst. Unfortunately, a week later this fear was confirmed.
Tracy has been blessed with so many recent joys in her life – getting married, a work promotion, and being named head coach of the woman’s world ball hockey team, but this horrible news has turned her life upside down. When she heard the news, she described that her entire life flashed before her eyes and she broke down. After she allowed herself to feel the vulnerability and hurt that the diagnosis hit her with, she decided that she wasn't going to hide out anymore. Tracy has expressed her will to fight this battle and she wants to share her story, so others can learn and heal from her experience. The first step in fighting this battle is learning about your enemy.
In January doctors took her left breast and many lymph nodes. So far Tracy has completed 3 of the 8 chemo treatments that she must undergo and will continue on to have 25 radiation sessions.
Tracy has been fortunate enough to work from home and modify her schedule to meet her health requirements. The Women's Auxiliary have graciously funded her needles that she must take after each chemo session. She is so very thankful for everyone’s support and the care packages given to her from friends, family and co-workers. She has expressed that the support she has received has been absolutely overwhelming and has given her the strength to fight harder.
We have created this page to show our support and help our friend and co-worker though this hard time. Tracy still has quite the road ahead which involves additional costs and challenges. Our goal is to relieve any extra financial and emotional stress for Tracy by raising funding to cover hospital parking, house cleaning & help with the care of her fur babies during her journey.
Tracy, you are a strong, powerful, and amazing woman. We are all in your corner and will continue to help and support you in any way needed throughout your battle. Lets kick cancer’s ass!
