help through our nicu journey

On 5/14/18  at 23 weeks pregnant i was airlifted to banner umc hospital from lake havasu, 3 hours away, due to my blood pressure being 245/150 and in danger of seizure, stroke, heart attack etc. it was later determined that i had developed preeclampsia, and after 6 days in the hospital and a plethora of medications and iv drugs  trying my best to keep my pressures down it was determined that i would no longer be safe with our baby inside me and the best route of care would be a delivery via c section. So on 5/19/18 i gave birth to our beautiful son, Dean. He weighed only one pound six ounces. He's a week old now and so far he has been doing good. The doctors say he is a fiesty little guy. But due to being born so early we are looking at a 3 month Nicu stay. Right now i am currently staying at a Ronald McDonald house in pheonix to be close to dean while my husband stays home 3 hours away to work and be with our other 6 year old son. We have never been the type to ask anyone for help, especially financially, but we must humble ourselves and put our pride aside so that we can keep our family together. With my husband being the only one working, finding the ability financially to get him and our 6 year old to pheonix to visit every weekend is proving a lot more difficult then we imagined. I don't want to have to be here with our newborn alone, because my 6 year old still needs his mother as well. So we are asking for help to be able to afford the gas and food and what not to be able to get my family out here every weekend so that my husband and my 6 year old son can see me and our new baby and be apart of our nicu journey and so that i am not doing this alone and so that we can keep our home going while we are here.
