Help This Little Guy Get Back Up on His Paws

We think this little guy escaped from or was dumped by a Pit Bull Fight Ring.

My fiancée's niece Makenzie was out for a walk along a quiet road with a friend when they heard a soft whimpering coming from tall grass.

They went to investigate and found a dog lying in the grass with a large cut down his back leg, as well as cuts on his head and nose.

He could not stand , but looked up at Makenzie and wagged his tail. Makenzie said this "made my heart melt."

Makenzie encouraged the little guy to follow them back to her car. The dog was so weak he could only walk so far without having to stop and rest.


They brought him to the vet. He had no collar or chip. The vet found a cracked tooth, mostly likely from dog fighting.

Makenzie and her husband only recently married and money is tight.

My fiancée and I have sent her a donation. But the medical bills and supplies are going to be about $600 by the time all is done. ( Shots, neutered, dental work, getting a dog crate, and so on.)

So I'm setting up this Go Fund Me in the hope you'll be able to spare a little cash.
