Theo's Journey with VACTERL Association
Now that you're back let me tell you how you can help.
Every two years a non-profit organization called the Pull-Thru Network hosts a conference for kids just like Theo. They have sessions and programmes for kids and parents alike, as well as giving the kids a chance to connect with other kids like them, a chance for them to realize they are not alone. This year Theo turned 10 and he is beginning to transition from letting us take care of all his medical needs to taking on the responsibility himself. As his parents we feel like this would be an incredible opportunity for him to connect with his condition in a more personal way. He is at an age where he understands how his life will be different, but not so old where he is embarassed to talk about it.
We, as a family thank you for anything you can do to help in covering registration costs, accomodation and travel to Phoenix, Arizona where the conference is being held. The registration deadline is June 9th, 2018.
