On November 12th, 2016, the Dorchester Eagles proudly competed on 3 levels (A, B, and C teams) in the MA State Championship game, and had 2 of 3 teams qualify for the N.E. Regional Championship (B and C teams), with one team already qualifying for the National Championship (A-team). All 3 teams are poised to make it to the Wide World of Sports Complex at Disney World to compete in the Pop Warner Super Bowl starting on December 2nd, 2016! This is an amazing opportunity for our student-athletes, but we cannot do it without your help!
I have had the pleasure of being part of the Dorchester Eagles family for the past 20 years, and during that time, we have attended the Super Bowl 12 times. This year, we are looking to make our 13th appearance with the sole intention to WIN ON ALL 3 LEVELS: A, B, and C!
This is important to our program for many reasons. We have the honor of coaching an amazing group of urban student-athletes with a great deal of untapped potential in addition to many unchartered experiences. Many of our student-atheletes have never had the oppurtunity to leave the city, and being part of this program has given them an opportunity to represent their family and community in a very positive way.
We strongly believe that the more oppurtunities and experiences we provide our student-athletes, the more prepared they will be for a bright, productive future. After all, our legacy is what we leave with our future, not what we take with us.
All donations to support our program are greatly appreciated. The support and encoruagement you provide to our student-atheletes will make a big difference in us bringing the National Championship back to MA.
