Help The Bond Family

My name is Chrissy and this is a story about my bestfriend, the most amazing mom I've ever met and her brave little daughter named Kelsey.  On March 17th Kelsey's life took an unexpected path, Erin rushed her to the hospital after seeing what she thought was a seizure,  after many blood tests, an MRI,  EEG and a Lumbar Puncture Kelsey was diagnosed  with Infantile Spasms, an extremely rare type of seizure disorder. 

Kelsey was discharged the following week and is now at home fighting this awful disease. She is still having many "episodes" throughout the day despite being on high doses of steroids and seizure medications. 

Treating these seizures at earliest onset and removing the stimulus to the brain is the key to Kelsey developing appropriately so first and foremost I ask you to pray for Tim and Erin, that they keep the strength they will need to fight for their baby girl.

Secondly, I am asking for you to give a monetary donation to the Bond Family.  As many of you know Kelsey has a twin brother, Kalen and a big sister Evelyn.  Erin used all of her FMLA/PTO during her recent maternity leave, and Tim is quickly running out of PTO. 

Next week they are taking Kelsey to UCLA in California to see a physician that specializes in Infantile Spasms. That trip alone, all of the hospital bills here, medication costs, household bills, diapers, wipes, formula, groceries all add up extremely fast.

These are the moments in life when it is most important for friends and family to come together and take action.  I am asking that even if you don't know them as well as I do, you can imagine for one moment that this is  your daughter, niece, sister, granddaughter.  Giving a monetary gift of ANY amount will help alleviate some of their stress and allow them to focus on what is most important right now.....Baby Kelsey.
