Send The Bluest Eye to the Kennedy Theatre Fest!

UC Davis Theatre and Dance's production of The Bluest Eye has been invited to compete in the Region 7 Finals of the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival! However, we need your help to send our actors and technicians to Eugene, Oregon, to compete.  The festival takes place from February 18th through the 22nd.

Donations will cover the cost of transportation and hotel fees for the students.  It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for us, many of whom are planning to continue as actors and technicians after graduating. It would mean the world if we were able to compete, especially since this show means so much to us.  We believe strongly in the important and relevant message of The Bluest Eye, and each of us worked tirelessly to make this show happen. We are so thankful for this opportunity and we hope we can continue to produce amazing shows. 

Even making a small donation or spreading the word will make a big difference!

Jillian Yong is the stage manager for The Bluest Eye and an undergraduate student at UC Davis, majoring in Theatre and Dance.  In order to help transfer the funds to the university, the funds will be withdrawn in her name to her account, then used to the benefit of the student actors , in the form of a check.
